De Bateleur Chardonnay 2009 van Chardonnay specialist Danie de Wet heeft 90 punten van Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gekregen.

The 2009 Bateleur Chardonnay has tropical fruit: pineapple, guava and passion fruit on the lifted bouquet. The palate is well-balanced with a touch of walnut on the entry, fanning out nicely across the mouth with subtle, spice-tinged citrus fruits towards a crisp, smoke-tinged finish. Drink now-2016.
